CreateThanksgiving Memories
|
|
Buy or make a small journal
or scrapbook
with at least 50 pages. On Thanksgiving Day, take Polaroid or digital pictures of
your guests as they arrive.
Paste one picture to a page and ask guests to write something opposite their pictures. What they write doesn't have to be deep or philosophical, but encourage people to write something about this day or another Thanksgiving Day or about some thought or pleasant memory. Once the booklet is completed, share the pictures and what's been written. Take a group shot for the cover. Start a collection by packing away the book until next year and reread it to remind everyone of past Thanksgivings. It's also nice to share with anyone who couldn't join in your Thanksgiving celebration, especially in these days of digital pictures that can be sent through email. |
