You will need

1 5 to 6 pound pumpkin
Boiling water

This is a wonderful bowl for "Body Parts Stew" or any other kind of hot soup that you would serve for a delicious Halloween treat. A smaller pumpkin makes a beautiful serving dish for dips.

1. Cut off top of pumpkin and scrape out the inside until very clean

2. Reserve the seeds for roasted pumpkin seeds

3. Approximately ten minutes before your soup or stew is ready to be served, pour boiling water into the cleaned pumpkin.

4. Replace pumpkin lid and let stand for ten minutes.

5. Drain water and replace with your stew
