Halloween Activities: Creepy Ice Ideas

Bat Line

bullet Make creepy looking ice cubes by filling an ice cube tray half full of water and then adding a raisin or a piece of gummy candy.

bullet Fill a new plastic household glove with Mountain Dew (very creepy green!) to create a spooky floating hand to put in your  your punch bowl. Use heavy duty rubber bands to secure the top of the glove, leaving a little room for expansion. Use a small plastic dish to prop up the secured end of the glove in the freezer. Freeze until  completely solid, cut away the glove and float the hand in the punchbowl. This is a lot of fun!

bullet Would you like a really creepy looking ice ring to put in your punch bowl? Freeze water, lemonaide or Mountain Dew in a ring mold or a bundt cake pan. Fill your mold about a third of the way with your liquid of choice and freeze. Once it is completely frozen, add some gummy worms, raisins, or whatever you think will create the most creepy effect and add more water on top of it all. Re-freeze.
