Halloween Activities: Cookie Decorating Party

|
|
Depending on the size of your group, you may want to make sugar cookies from scratch with the children helping, or have the dough pre-mixed and waiting in the refrigerator. Purchase a lot of inexpensive plastic Halloween cookie cutters so that each child can take his/her's home afterwards as a party favor. If making cookies from scratch, let each child take a turn at rolling out the dough. Once the cookies cool, you can have a cookie decorating contest with prizes for different categories. Have some icing and different decorations on hand for a lot of decorating fun. Be sure to make enough for treats at the party and some left over for each child to take home to show off their skill at home. |
