Vintage Halloween image

  1. Make a hole in the end of each box large enough for a hand to reach in and feel what is inside
  2. Add a different spooky item to each box and then drape with black cloth and some spider webs. Add a few plastic black spiders and maybe some dust (talc, baby powder or cocoa powder and you are ready to pleasantly frighten your guests
  3. When each guest reaches into a box, be sure to mention what you think might be in it
Eyeballs: Frozen peeled grapes or wet olives (not the pitted variety)

Intestines: cold, wet spaghetti. Thoroughly spray if with a non-stick cooking spray so that it feels slimy and doesn't clump up

Liver: A half of a canned peach

Clammy Skin: A piece of plastic trash bag that has been oiled or has Crisco  lightly spread on it or an oiled soft flour tortilla

Fingers: Chicken bones or hotdogs

Hand: Freeze water in a latex glove. Drape it over a small bowl to form a realistic shape while it is freezing. Place in a tray of sand or rice so that your guests have to dig around in the graveyard dirt to find the hand. Very spooky

Hair:  An old wig, a dolls head or the silk off of a cob of corn
