Make a thick meat or chicken stew/soup. or a hearty gumbo and tell your young guests that it is body parts stew. If you have any clean chicken bones to float in it, so much the better. Serving it from a black cast iron pot just heightens the illusion. It is also very effective served in a pumpkin shell bowl.

Serve with finger sandwiches and have a cauldron of witches brew handy.
