United States Postal Service Operation Santa Claus
California Locations

Individuals must present photo identification to receive letters. Third parties, such as charities, businesses, schools etc., wishing to answer unlimited letters must now fill-out forms as well. In this instance, it is best to contact your local post office to make an appointment. Individuals, corporations and civic groups are encouraged to contact their local post office for letters. You can obtain the phone number of your local post office by visiting www.usps.gov or call toll free 1-800-ASKUSPS (1-800-275-8777). Days and times vary for program participation so customers should call their nearest Post Office for details.
OPERATION SANTA CLAUS 2011
On December 1, 2011 the US Postal Service will announce this season’s
“Operation Letters to Santa” program, which each year quietly makes available
letters to Santa written by underprivileged children. Volunteers from the public
may pick up letters asking Santa for “a warm coat”, “food or clothes” or “shoes
for my older brother,” clearly written by kids who need a brighter Christmas,
and mail their gifts to the family. Please check back soon!

Please consider going to your local post office to pick up a letter from a needy child who needs warm clothing, school supplies or a gift for a parent or sibling. Toys are always nice, but their needs are much more complex.
Remember that not all USPS offices participate in Operation Santa so
be sure to call your post office before going there. You can find
your local post office number by calling (800) ASK-USPS
(275-8777). If you find a post office that
offers "Dear Santa" letters that does not appear on this list please
email that information to us at webmaster @
operationlettertosanta.com and we will post it immediately for you.
Happy Holidays to All!
