Santa's Favorite Recipes: Molasses Taffy Candy
Ingredients
2 cups molasses
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
|
Combine all ingredients and boil in heavy saucepan until mixture reaches hard ball stage. Wet a shallow pan with cool water and pour hot candy in. When candy is cool enough to handle, pull until as light a color is desired is reached. Twist and cut into sticks. |
