Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
1 cup butter, not margarine
Cream
butter and powdered sugar together until fluffy. Add vanilla and egg; beat well.
Add dry ingredients. Chill
at least two hours or overnight. Roll
out dough on very lightly floured bread board. For crisp cookies roll dough to
1/8 inch thick. For soft cookies, roll dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into shapes
using Christmas cookies cutters or a small glass dipped lightly in flour. Bake in
350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool and decorate.
