Ingredients
1 lb. Butter
1 lb. Golden Brown Sugar
8 eggs
1 lb. Raisins
1 lb. Almonds
1 lb. Dates
2 lb. Red cherries
2 lb. Green cherries
2 lb. Red Pineapple
3 lb. Green pineapple
1/2 cup of grape juice
3 cups of flour
3/4 tablespoon cinnamon
3/4 table spoon cloves
3/4 tablespoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
|
Put cut up fruit in large bowl and put 3/4 cup of rum or rye over it the night before you make the cake, mix it up.
