Santa's Favorite Recipes: Filbert Balls Cookies
Ingredients

cup butter, softened
1/2
cup powdered sugar, sifted
2
tablespoons water
1
teaspoon vanilla extract
2
cups all-purpose flour
1
cup chopped filberts
Powdered sugar

Cream butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in water and vanilla. Stir in flour and chopped filberts. Hint: For easier handling, cover dough and chill for about 30 minutes. Shape into 1" balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool slightly; sift powdered sugar over cookies.
