Chocolate Rum Balls
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups finely crushed chocolate wafers (30 wafers) |
| 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted |
| 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts |
| 1/4 cup light corn syrup |
| 3 tablespoons Rum |
| 1/2 teaspoon shredded orange peel |
| 1/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted |
|
Stir together chocolate, 1/2 cup powdered sugar and finely chopped walnuts. Stir in light corn syrup, rum and orange peel. Using one level tablespoonful for each cookie, shape mixture into 3/4" balls. Roll in 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Store in air-tight container.
