Cut a six inch length of ribbon. Tie it into a circle and glue the tied section to the pointy tip of the pine cone. Hold the pine cone by the ribbon and paint it green. While the paint is still wet, sprinkle glitter on your pine cone if you like. When the paint is dry, use miscellaneous items such as old costume jewelry or small ornaments to decorate your pine cone so it looks like a miniature Christmas tree. You can also paint the tips of the branches white if you like to look like snow. These look nice sitting in a small painted clay pot or a pretty Christmas bowl. Use your imagination and have a lot of fun!
