Make a Gift of Cookies in a Jar

This is a great gift idea for teachers, friends and office mates.
Choose your favorite cookie recipe; bake and then print out the recipe to attach to the gift jar.

	Quart size canning jars with lids, or any decorative jar or tin.
	Scraps of Christmas fabric
	Ribbon or raffia
	Glue
	Paper, plain or holiday theme
	Cookie recipe and ingredients

Instructions

Thoroughly wash and dry the jars and lids.
Fill the jars with your favorite cookies.
Cut out a circle of the fabric that is 6 to 8 inches across.
Place the fabric over the jar and screw lid on. Fluff fabric. Add decorative ribbon and small ornaments or sprigs of holly. You can have a lot of fun with this.
Print out the recipe that goes with the cookies that you baked and include it with your cookies in a jar.
