Christmas Treats for Birds
| Cover
medium to large pinecones with peanut butter, and then roll in birdseed.
Hang in a tree with festive colored yarn or ribbon.
Do you have left over donuts or bagels? Hang these from your tree or the eave of your house with festive ribbon or raffia. Birds love these! |
|
Make Christmas seed bells with a 2 1/4 inch garden pot. Cover the pot with peanut butter or suet, then roll in birdseed. Make a clapper by using a large needle and heavy thread or fishing line to attach cranberries to the drainage hole of the pot. You can also attach dried fruits such as apple or orange slices.

Birds love sunflower seeds, peanuts, raisins, stale crumbs and unsweetened cereal. Make a pretty tray to put under a tree for ground feeding birds and enjoy their visit to your yard. |
Please consider donating to Operation Letters To Santa. Your donation helps us to bring Christmas to needy children in our nation.
