1. Draw or paste a picture of a turkey on 12 or more index  cards or colored squares of paper.
2. Everyone leaves the room except the leader
3. The leader very quietly hides the cards around the room
4. Hunters return and begin the hunt
5. As each turkey card is found, it is brought back to the leader who places them in a separate pile for each turkey hunter
6. When all of the turkeys have been found, the hunter with the most turkeys wins and becomes the leader for the next round.

Tip: The turkey cards are a fun activity for children to make before the holidays. They can find magazine pictures, or color pictures and cut them out for the turkey cards.
