You will need

	40 Borden Brand caramel cubes
	5 firm red apples (Macintosh if you can find them)
	1 tablespoon water
	5 wood popsicle sticks
	Waxed paper
	Non-stick cooking spray

1. Wash and dry apples thoroughly
2. Remove stems and insert popsicle stick into the stem hole until about half of the stick is in the apple
3. In a small saucepan. melt caramels and water over low heat, stirring constantly
4. Dip the apple into the hot caramel sauce, coating the apple completely
5. Place two inches apart on waxed paper that has been lightly coated with non-stick cooking spray
6. Refrigerate until ready to serve
7. Before serving, remove from refrigerator and let stand at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes
